Sometimes the smallest of things can result in the most remarkable of coincidences.
i bumped into someone and it kinda made my day, although everyone else is in the dark how much it meant. And i probably wanna leave it that way. A long awaited and much fantasized moment that sorta happened really abruptly. Like when you accidentally took too huge a gulp of ice water. And you have to swallow it reall fast. Cos it's too much. and you can't spit it out. And Howie Day's Collide immediately played in my head (and repeated many times over in my ipod later on). And it just seems so.. naive.. yet surreal

I have finally managed to pry myself away from World of Warcraft. It was kinda like having my feet staple-gunned to a giant conveyor belt together with Night Elves, and Gnomes, and Orcs and Trolls and i find myself subjugated to their will, into their World, that frankly, as i turn the light on, doesn't exist at all. I have neglected people from my world, and things from my world, with much regret, i can tell you.

And how did this come about? I had a roll with my brother and he explicitly expressed that he would rather i didn't touch his computer. And with my own computer in techno-limbo, my younger bro's comp for school, and my mum n bro's laptop not installed with the game. I can only sit around. and do other things. Like catch up on intellectual input. And answering mail. And buying stuff. (My mum asked me where i got such an amazing wardrobe that can keep churning out new clothes. Cos i'm always sneaky when i bring stuff i buy back. She tends to cluck disapprovingly when she sees yet another lime green Topman bag.. heh..)

I'm hanging out with a different crowd now. And doing different things. The specifics of which i'm not of the generosity to share as yet. But it's cool. It's all cool..
